You know once they begin to grow there's no stopping them. My first set grew from that length to well past my shoulders in three years. I love the color on the ends-I've been thinking of coloring mine also but I can't decide on what I want.
Just stumbled upon your blog - love what I see/read - wish I could do that to my hair...:)
awesome pic!ur locs look like they're comin along nicely. i just had my 1 yr locaversary and they look about the same as urs. i started with the latchhook technique and i don't know if i could've started any other way! if it makes u feel any better, my ends aren't all sealed either. but the rest of the loc is nice & tight. i think it has to do with hair texture. moosiko is right tho, once they start growin it's game ON! i don't know if u've tried seabreeze on ur scalp between appts, but i LOVE that stuff (and it's cheap!). for moisturizing i've found that oil sheen (olive somethin or other in a green can) works well. so that's enough of my unsolicited advice, but i just had to comment b/c ur hair looks good!
